Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her role on House, a Fox medical drama, House. She grew up in Wayne, in a conservative Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she emigrated in New York City to study at Tisch School for the Arts. Then, in the course of time, she became active in the club scene and made enough noise that she was noticed by the press, concurrently, becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. Then, she combined her fame and talent with the ability to write and compose in the production of a play titled Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed a job at MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side. Once the program was over the actress went on to work in movies and TV productions. Her first job was in tiny roles and then established herself in the process of becoming an actor.
