Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is a famous American actress, singer, writer and director. She is most well-known for acting as Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the main actress in these films. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is her sister who is also an artist. Benson, whose father is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's acting career has continued to flourish since the end of Buffy. She appeared in movies like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. While behind the lens, Benson used her talents as a writer to write The Ghosts of Albion television series.
