Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is best known as the anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl was brought up within Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. Sheryl spent most of her youth caring for her sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mom. Sheryl claims that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father due to him becoming too close to her. Sheryl became a member of the military shortly after graduating from the college. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She launched her TV career in 1992 having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. Presently, she is a guest co-host for Talk Talk since 2011. In addition, she has been an unnamed character on shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
