Sheryl Underwood is she is an American comedian and TV personality who is best known for her role as the hosts for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and has been raised in Little Rock, Atwater and Atwater. Sheryl has a troubled family. She was a troubled child. childhood taking care of her older sister Frankie suffering from the disease of polio. While growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mom. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father due to him having a relationship with her. Sheryl entered the military following her graduation from university. Her TV professional career began in 1992, as an actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she hosted her own show Oh Drama! She's been host on The Talk since 2011. She has also performed fictional roles on television shows like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
