Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is half-Spanish, and half-English woman. Their father was Argentine and has Scottish and English ancestral roots. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria part in London. Taylor-Joy said that moving was traumatic and that she was unable to go back to school in English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. When she was 16 she decided to leave school in order to follow a full-time career path in acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy had a dream to become an actress and her dream came true when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
